THE TORCH HAS BEEN PASSED!
Since the March 2016 STRIPSHOW episode, fans have been wondering what is up with Space Cadet and Naked Justice. The incredibly hung, ginger-haired hero shows up in Gateway City after a prolonged absence to make a very special request of his friend, Space Cadet. The episode ends with NJ asking Byron to do him “a HUGE, VERY IMPORTANT favor”.
Speculation ran wild, especially considering that NJ told Byron that “it’s time to put away your Space Cadet costume.” Fans wondered what this could all mean. Emails started pouring in. People were eager and hungry to discover the true nature of NJ’s request. Well, the wait is over.
With the release of the April 2015 STRIPSHOW double-sized episode, the cat is out of the bag! There’s a NEW NAKED JUSTICE in town and his name is Byron Durand!

We’re extremely proud to unveil the all-new NAKED JUSTICE! Byron’s had quite a hectic few years, and everything we’ve put him through has led him to this point in his life. He’s shedding his much beloved Space Cadet identity to take up the mantle of Gateway City’s most recognizable hero as Naked Justice.
But what of Felix Himner, you ask? Well, before you send us angry letters, consider this. Eventually, Felix was going to have to stop being Naked Justice, because way back in Deimos #0, which was originally released in 2004, over 12 years ago, and later in 2005’s Rapture #1, it’s revealed that Felix has survived well into the time of Deimos’ war against Hell, and that he’s helping to save as many humans as he can. These seeds were planted early on and the time has finally come for us to tie things together in a more concrete fashion.

So is this the end of the ORIGINAL Naked Justice? Absolutely not. As you know, we at Class Comics like to jump around when it comes to time-line and continuity, and we’ve got many more Felix Himner adventures to share with you. There’s a TON of stuff we don’t yet know about this beloved hero, and we intend to delve into those adventures very soon. There’s room enough in our universe for two Naked Justices!
As for Byron, the all-new Naked Justice… what can we expect from him? GREAT THINGS to be sure! Our new NJ is about to assemble and lead a rather impressive team of Gateway City heroes, and his adventure will continue in the up-coming BRIGAYDE book one, written by Patrick Fillion and illustrated by David Cantero. The BRIGAYDE is headed your way Summer 2016 and as a series, it’s going to tie up a number of story points we’ve set up over the years. Plus the BRIGAYDE is our first official team book of all-gay super heroes. Trust us! You won’t want to miss this on-going title.
